Body Contact
Optical contact contributes evidence that the wearable is physically being worn.
Ideas Become Systems
Rūts
Grow your Proofolio with solid Rūts.
Rūts is a wearable liveness and observation platform in development by Innovative Idea Creations. By observing independent signals of presence, activity, location, time, and physiological activity, Rūts explores a new way to build evidence around real-world participation.
Observe what happened. Preserve the evidence. Grow the Proofolio.
Digital content is increasingly easy to create, modify, synthesize, and generate. A photograph, document, location claim, or timestamp by itself may say increasingly little about how something actually came into existence.
Rūts approaches that problem from the physical side. Rather than attempting to determine afterward whether something looks authentic, Rūts is being developed to observe independent evidence while real activity is occurring.
What independent observations accompanied its creation?
A sensor reading is not treated as proof merely because a sensor produced it.
Cowbird Prime is the current Rūts hardware prototype. Its architecture combines independent physical, physiological, spatial, temporal, and device observations while maintaining local qualification before synthesis.
Optical contact contributes evidence that the wearable is physically being worn.
Optical pulse observations contribute an independent physiological liveness signal.
Experimental observation pipeline currently undergoing qualification and stability development.
Provides another physical observation associated with wearable contact.
Independently observes activity and transitions between resting and active states.
Provides satellite-derived geographic observations.
GPS pulse-per-second provides an independent timing observation for time-lock verification.
Each Rūts device generates its own hardware-derived device identifier.
Observations are evaluated locally rather than treating every raw reading as automatically trustworthy.
Qualified observations contribute to a dynamic confidence state rather than a simple binary claim.
Cowbird communicates its observation state to the Rūts companion application.
Cowbird communicates its observation state through BLE to the Rūts companion application, providing a human-facing view into locally observed evidence and device state.
The application is being developed as part of the broader Rūts evidence environment rather than as a separate source of truth. Cowbird performs observation and local qualification first; the companion application presents that state for human review.
Mobile integration remains under active development.
The interface does not create the evidence. It provides access to evidence produced by the observing system.
Rūts is ultimately being developed around Proofolio, not around becoming another fitness tracker.
A Proofolio is a growing body of locally observed evidence that can accompany projects, work, experiences, field activity, and other real-world accomplishments.
The wearable does not need to decide what those accomplishments mean. It contributes observational context that another application, project record, or evidence system can use.
AI detectors attempt to analyze an artifact afterward and infer whether AI produced it.
Rūts explores a different approach: establishing evidence of real-world participation while the activity is happening.
AI can still be part of the workflow. Rūts is not designed to prohibit AI or compete with it. The objective is to preserve evidence of the human and physical context surrounding creation.
Augment. Never replace.
Rūts demonstrates locally controlled observation close to the person and activity being observed.
Within the broader SPHIROSYSTEM architecture, those observations can become part of a continuity path without requiring the wearable itself to perform every computational or interpretive role.
Rūts is an active IIC research and development project. Cowbird Prime is a functioning development prototype, but the product is not commercially released.
Sensor qualification, enclosure development, firmware refinement, mobile integration, evidence continuity, and Proofolio architecture remain under active development.
Rūts is not presented as a medical diagnostic device and does not replace qualified human judgment.
