Universal Miner Interface
Observe miners without relearning every dashboard.
IIC is developing a universal miner interface intended to discover, identify, observe, and eventually manage different cryptocurrency mining devices through one consistent local environment.

Several names have been explored internally, but the project is still revealing what it wants to become.
Publicly, it remains the Universal Miner Interface while development continues.
Different miner manufacturers and models expose information through different interfaces, layouts, terminology, and assumptions.
The Universal Miner Interface is being developed to reduce that unnecessary variation by observing hardware locally and presenting useful operational information through one consistent environment.
The objective is not to reproduce every manufacturer's interface. It is to recognize the useful information, normalize it, and present it clearly.

Preserve selected miner identities rather than requiring rediscovery on every use.
Develop a common observation layer across differing miner hardware.

Additional operational views, including node visibility, remain an emerging development direction.
The project has already been exercised against multiple ASIC miner types during development.
That testing is being used to learn where manufacturers expose similar information differently, which information is genuinely useful to operators, and what can be normalized without hiding meaningful hardware differences.
The objective is not simply to place a new visual layer over manufacturer interfaces.
The developing architecture discovers miners, identifies them, retrieves useful information, normalizes that information where appropriate, and creates a consistent operator-facing environment.
Build tools around what operators actually need.
The Universal Miner Interface observes and interacts with mining hardware regardless of manufacturer.
BisonPool observes mining networks, contributed work, share and block evidence, accounting, rewards, and payouts.
The two projects naturally complement one another, but they remain separate systems with different responsibilities.
The Universal Miner Interface is active IIC development work and has already been tested against multiple miner types.
Discovery, persistence, normalization, expanded device support, operational tooling, and interface refinement remain under development.
There is no public download, signup, final product name, or announced release date at this time.
